Happy Birthday on a Budget Special Cookie Cutter

This B-day gift idea is quick and special at the same time.  I bought a large cookie cutter 4" x 6."  On my computer I wrote Happy Birthday for the tag.  On the same page I wrote the sugar cookie and icing recipe from one of my previous posts in Word.  I printed everything on one page of card stock.  I reduced the font for the recipe to 6 so that it would fit into a 2" X 3" space. I printed half the recipe on the front side of the card and the other half on the back side of the card.  (It's a printer setting.) Then I took a paper cutter and cut out the text as seen below.

Now your birthday person can either make themselves some great sugar cookies or use the cookie cutter and the recipe to make a special B-day cookie for one of their friends or loved ones when their birthday rolls around.

Happy Birthday Craft Stamp - Go Crazy!

I bought this craft stamp (E-bay), an ink pad (Michaels) and a bottle of glitter glue (Walmart).

Now I can create Happy Birthday gift tags, Happy Birthday gift bags, Happy Birthday wrapping paper -- and more -- to add interest and creativity to my B-day gifts. Glossy paper works best with craft stamps.

Or I can put all three items (stamp, ink, glitter glue) into a bag and give that as a Happy B-day gift.

Happy Birthday Chef Coat on a Budget

Chef Coats personalized with your B-day person's name embroidered on the front is a great Happy Birthday gift idea.  Chef coats are sized for men or women and come in many different styles and colors.  You can buy them for under $20.00; some styles are $10.99.  My husband loves to cook, and I bought one for him here:

I had his name embroidered on the front.

He always wears his chef coat when he cooks, and it goes right in the washer after dinner.

Happy Birthday Gift - Enhanced Cupcake from Target

I bought this cupcake at Target bakery.  It was sold in the plastic container.

I took the cupcake out of the plastic, cut a small round hole in the top of the container.  I added a candle and some matching sugar sprinkles to the cupcake.

Candles (from the Dollar Store) come in blue, green and red as well as pink.  So I could have chosen, for example, a blue chandelle and blue sugar sprinkles to decorate my cupcake instead of the pink.

Next I took a 20" piece of wired garland and twisted it into a spiral shape.

Finally, I put the cupcake back into its plastic container, closed the top and laid the garland over the top.

Below are birthday bags just the right size for this cupcake.  They also came from Target in the card department.

Or if your cupcake has been decorated with red, green or blue you could use this bag:

Now you have a beautiful, unique, personalized b-day cupcake ready to present and certain to bring a smile from its recipient, knowing that you care about them.
